Shade: ADI Design Index 2019

Et al. proudly announces that Shade - designed by Philippe Nigro - has been selected by the ADI Permanent Design Observatory for its annual publication dedicated to the best Italian design.

Made with the technique of welded steel wire, Shade represents an industrial style micro architecture and offers a graphic and optical game in which full and empty spaces are perfectly harmonized, to give lightness to the structure.

The prestigious volume edited annually by the Italian Association for Industrial Design is considered one of the most authoritative publications on the international design scene, and with the selection in the ADI Design Index 2019, Shade is a candidate for the next Compasso d'Oro.

Nigro's project, together with all the products of the final selection, will be exhibited from 15 to 20 October in Milan at the Science and Technology Museum and from 23 to 26 November in Rome at the Casa dell'Architettura.
