Art, architecture, design, cultures, stories, geographies
Beaches have always been a metaphor, places in which to lose oneself in thought or dialogues. So it was on a beach that the Mappe magazine decided to develop a cultural project in collaboration with the Municipality of Senigallia, the Marche Region and an extensive network of companies, institutions and cultural associations.
On 19 July the Marzocca beach in Senigallia will once again be hosting Demanio marittimo Km278, the night dedicated to architecture, art and design.
From dusk till dawn, from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., 100 metres of the beach will be transformed into a stage for contemporary living, with a series of workshops, debates, performances, video and audio installations, dj sets, readings and tastings.
The project is curated by Cristiana Colli and Pippo Ciorra and is promoted by the magazine Mappe - Gagliardini Editore. The 14th edition of the magazine will be distributed during the event and includes a long feature article about Et al. and its products.
On the stages that have been set up along the seashore, this ninth edition will once again feature many designers, architects, planners and thinkers who will this year be comfortably seated on our 001 interwoven wire chairs. These chairs have always occupied a prominent place in the collective imagination with their quintessentially Adriatic dimensions, that are perfectly in keeping with this event.
