Sustainability

“Adopting an eco-sustainable lifestyle means committing to a daily set of actions aimed at respecting the environment”.

Our company has based its growth on eco-sustainable criteria through the ongoing implementation of an integrated quality, health, safety and environmental system. Guaranteeing the origin of the raw materials and production chain, verifying the proper management of forests and woodlands, and tracking the resulting products, is one of our commitments.

Integrated system policy

In order to base our growth on eco-sustainable criteria in accordance with international standards ISO 9001, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001, we have decided to implement, maintain and improve an Integrated Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental Management System, which we consider to be a voluntary tool that, together with our existing organisational tools, takes a preventive approach to the themes mentioned for the implementation of Sustainable Development.

Moreover, still in line with this approach, we have decided to adapt our processes to also comply with the FSC- Chain of Custody (FSC-COC) standard.

Environmental Awareness project

We have decided to improve the quality of our work environment, optimising energy savings and eliminating waste with the aim of creating a more eco-sustainable and responsible workplace. Each of us is firmly committed through small daily gestures that aim to reduce our impact on the planet.

Durability

From the design process through to testing, each product is carefully assessed to guarantee intensive and long-lasting use over time. This approach ensures a long service life for our products, thus significantly reducing their environmental impact.

FSC-certified woods

FSC certification is a guarantee of our commitment to using material from certified forests that are properly and responsibly managed in accordance with strict environmental, social and economic standards.

Recyclability

Plastic products are marked in accordance with standard UNI EN ISO 11469 to facilitate their recognition in end-of-life recovery and recycling operations.

Recycled materials

In the Dunk, Snap, Uni, Uni-ka, and Nassau collections, some shell colors are made from recycled material, partly obtained from post-consumer waste recycling.
The marsala-colored shells of Dunk collection are made from recycled polypropylene. The percentage of recycled content in the shell ranges from 65% to 85%.
The marsala and olive green shells in the Nassau, Snap, Uni, and Uni-ka collections are made from 100% recycled polypropylene from industrial waste.
Our collections include fabrics made from entirely recycled and further recyclable polyester yarn (Reviva: Hero, Iris, and Amelia); others made from recycled polyester (Convert); and others still from post-consumer recycled polyester (Chili).

Increasingly sustainable packaging

In designing environmentally friendly packaging, it is essential to take an eco-design approach that considers the product’s entire life cycle. This means carefully evaluating all stages, from the selection of raw materials through to production, distribution and end-of-life disposal. This is the only way to ensure the sustainable management of resources and reduce the overall environmental impact of packaging.

In 2020, we decided to draw up and internally implement a Green sustainable packaging policy. The first results were seen as early as the following year. In 2021 and 2023, in fact, we received the Conai Ecodesign award.

Our commitment does not end here; the search for ever-greener packaging is ongoing.

Non-toxic materials

Coatings and fabrics are produced in compliance with the REACH regulation,

a European Union Regulation adopted to improve the protection of human health and the environment against the potential risks of chemicals.

Beyond the company

In line with our ethical approach, we also use sustainable materials for our trade fair exhibitions.

Our stands are in fact made from natural poplar and OSB, both natural and recovered materials. The paints are water-based and no glue is used.

The stands are made in pre-assembled modules, are reusable and allow efficient disposal management.
